Our Locations
The New Zealand Air Ambulance Service has six bases throughout New Zealand, with four in the North Island and two in the South Island.
Our Hawke’s Bay base is our crucial business headquarters and engineering division’s main facility. We designed and built this base in 2009 and recently opened the Hawke’s Bay Jet Centre, which houses aircraft and includes FBO and support facilities.
Our Auckland base includes hangar and crew facilities at Auckland International Airport. This base also serves as the operating base for the National Starship Hospital Air Ambulance Service.
Our Taranaki air ambulance operation is based in the Taranaki Air Ambulance Trust facility at the New Plymouth airport. This facility provides hangarage for our King Air C90B air ambulance and crew.
Our Beechcraft B200 air ambulance situated at the Dunedin International Airport assists in covering the southern half of the South Island.
Our Queenstown base is situated at The Queenstown Airport. This base houses our Mustang C510 Jet, available for charter and air ambulance operations.
